About AetinaMedicare
One person, one phone number, and a steady way of working through Medicare until the choices stop feeling like guesswork.
Who you are dealing with
Small on Purpose
I built AetinaMedicare so that the person who reads your first message is the same person who reads your last one. Nothing gets handed along, and nothing gets repeated back to a stranger who has to start over.
Medicare is not complicated because the rules are secret. It is complicated because the pieces are described separately and you are left to line them up yourself. That lining up is the work I do. I take your prescriptions, your doctors, your dates and your budget, and I hold each option against them until the picture is plain.
You will not hear a script from me. You will hear what the option actually does, what it leaves uncovered, and what I would want to know if I were the one signing.
The order I follow
How a Conversation Usually Goes
Listen
Your situation before any plan name
I ask what you take, who you see, what you already have and what date is coming up. That is the whole first stretch of the conversation. Until I know those things, any plan I named would just be a guess dressed up as advice.
Sort
Separating what applies from what does not
Most of Medicare will never touch you. I set aside the parts that do not apply to your situation so you are only reading about the ones that do. It makes a wide subject narrow enough to finish in one sitting.
Compare
Options side by side, plainly
Original Medicare with a supplement, or an Advantage plan, or drug coverage on its own. I lay out what each route pays, what it asks of you monthly, and where your own doctors and medicines land inside it.
Confirm
Written down before anything is signed
Whatever you decide on comes back to you in an email you can reread or show to family. Nothing gets submitted while you are still unsure, and the decision stays yours right up to the moment you make it.
Setting expectations
What I Will Not Do
Being clear about the limits saves everyone time, so here is where I stop.
I will not tell you a plan is the best one available, because best depends entirely on which medicines you fill and which offices you walk into. I will not push a deadline at you to hurry a decision, and I will not keep contacting you once you have said you are set.
No Guessing at Costs
If a figure depends on something I have not checked yet, I say so instead of estimating.
No Passing You Along
Your questions come to me and the answers come back from me, start to finish.
No Quiet Assumptions
If your spouse or employer coverage changes things, I raise it rather than skip past it.
No Rushing the Signature
Enrollment happens when you are ready to enroll, and not one conversation sooner.
Tell me what you have in front of you and I will read it through with you.
